  2. Title of your Show: Obscured by Salmon

  3. Broadcast Date and Time:  Alternate Tuesdays 8 pm – 10 pm

  4. How long have you been on the air?  One and one half years

  5. What brought you to KFCF?  I have always enjoyed listening and I find the format more open than else where.

  6. Please give a brief description of your program.  Eclectic, blend of recorded music and live performances and interviews.

  7. Who all are the players involved in putting things together?  Bob Lambert and I

  8. What are some issues that you have the opportunity to speak about on your program that you might not be able to elsewhere?  All issues.  I don’t feel like I have to hold back on my opinions or dodge any sensitive issue.

  9. What are some memorable moments you’ve had as a programmer with the station?

  10. What are some strengths you feel you’ve developed in part due to hosting your own program?  Staying awake past my bedtime.

  11. Have you previously been involved in radio/communication’s If yes, when & where?  Yes, KFSR, almost seven years

  12. What are some of your favorite programs on the KPFA/KFCF airwaves?  Move on Up, Guns and Butter, Stir it Up, Wasteland of the Free, Mike Beevers, Explorations, Democracy Now, Blues by the Bay, Across the Great Divide, America’s Back Forty, About Health, Pig in a Pen, Terra Verde,  Art Attack, Down on the Farm, Community Alliance, Green Scene.

  1. What one word describes the feeling you have once you’ve just completed a show?  Tired, it’s past my bedtime.

  2. What advice would you dispense to folks in the community who have something to say and feel they don’t have a venue in which to do it?  Call any of the locally produced shows.  We will listen and might invite you in for an interview.

  3. Are there other Independent media outlets that you might encourage readers or listeners of your program to check out?  Undercurrent, Community Alliance, Channel 18.
